Nonetheless, he includes how he navigated trailblazing the field of plastic surgery as the first BLACK chief resident of plastic surgery at USF ( University of South Florida). We also discuss how the standards of beauty by the media has affected plastic surgery as a field and how his decisions to create a foundation for his future led to him working in an underserved area in rural ohio.
